Man shot to death in vehicle in Feltonville, police say

A man died late Monday after he was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle along a roadway in Philly’s Feltonville community.

According to police, officers responding to a report of a person with a firearm found a 26-year-old man inside a gray Honda parked along the 300 block of West Loudon Street in Feltonville at about 10:08 p.m. after he had been shot multiple times.

The man, officials said, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced at about 10:28 p.m.

No one has been arrested in this incident and, officials said, an investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.

According to police statistics, as of Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, there were 133 reported homicides in Philadelphia so far this year.

This is down by about 19.8% from the same time in 2025, police statistics show.
