The Plaza Hotel & Casino is adding fun, enthusiastic, and entertaining dealers to the live streaming show produced by the Vegas Live Casino Network, the only live streaming channel dedicated to broadcasting casino play in Las Vegas, seven days a week.
Referring to the new positions as “Dealertainers,” Jonathan Jossel, CEO of the Plaza Hotel & Casino explained what the new position entails. “The streaming broadcast of Vegas Live Casino Network already showcases the fun players have at our tables. Now, we are upping the ante on the broadcast by adding dealers who will bring even more excitement to the live experience and the online show with their unique personality, unbridled enthusiasm, and unmatched flair.”
While Dealertainers will be selected primarily for the personality they can bring to the live streaming show, they also must be licensed through the Nevada Gaming Control Board and be able to deal at least two of the three games in the room (blackjack, roulette, and baccarat.) Shifts will be from 6 p.m. to midnight daily.
And unlike any other Las Vegas casino, Dealertainers at the Plaza will be guaranteed daily tokes (tips).
The Plaza is holding a casting call to hire 20 to 30 Dealertainers this Friday, Oct. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. in its smoke free gaming room at the Main Street dome entrance where Vegas Live Casino Network films.
Interested dealers should bring a copy of their resume (headshots are not required) and arrive camera ready for a videotaped audition. Prospective applicants should also be social media savvy and ideally have their own active accounts and channels where they post regularly.
The Plaza has long promoted social media posting by guests and created the smoke free gaming area as a social media friendly space with vibrant backdrops and copyright free music. The Plaza partnered with Vegas Live Casino Network earlier this year, making it the first Las Vegas property with its own dedicated YouTube channel to broadcast the excitement players, including numerous popular social media influencers, are having.
